Garrett & Mrs. Layton

Garrett had an awesome aide in 1st and 2nd grade, Mrs. Layton. She loved Garrett to death and really knew how to motivate and handle him. She was such a blessing in our lives for those two years and was a huge help to Garrett. He knew she loved him and that he could count on her for consistency and fairness. We were so sad to leave her behind when we moved. She visited us last summer shortly after we moved here and she just took time from her family vacation to stop by and visit us again. Garrett was excited to see her and I think he will always remember her and have special memories of her. Thank you, Mrs. Layton, for being such a special part of our lives and for loving and helping Garrett so much. We sure missed you this year-school wasn't the same without you. You are one of a kind! It was great to see you!
